Appointments

How Do I Make an Appointment?

To make an appointment please visit our consulting room.

If you feel your appointment is urgent, and are happy to see any clinician, then we will see you that day. However, if you wish to see a specific GP for a routine appointment, then you may have to wait longer for an appointment.

If you wish to make an appointment in advance we offer appointments up to 28 days in the future.

If you cannot keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the appointment to another patient. We have a significant problem with “non-attenders” blocking patient access. Don’t forget you can use our “text to cancel” service. For more information on registering for text message reminders, please see the relevant section in our practice information.

Please be aware that if you arrive late for your appointment you may be asked to rebook. This is to ensure we are doing our best to ensure that the surgeries run on time. If you contact us to let us know you are going to be late we will always endeavour to accommodate the change but sadly there are no guarantees.

Each person to be seen will require a separate appointment. If you have more than one problem to discuss, you may need to make another appointment.

Appointments can be made in advance by special arrangement for those with a disability who rely on a carer to get to the surgery. Please make this clear if it is the case.
